I read the reviews first. I saw that they run small. So I ordered the largest one (my boyfriend wears a medium). It fits just right on him. If he raises his hands up, you can see his wrists a little. He loves it though and his brother wants one. I am a little worried about the buttons getting loose and popping open. It doesn't seem secure. I don't think it was worth $50, however. The pleather(fake leather)is very thin. It holds the same value as the women's letterman sweater that you can get for about $20.

I purchased this jacket to give to my husband as a Christmas gift, however I will be returning it. I have two main issues with the jacket, that really could have been avoided with a better product description.

First, the 'dots' which are thermal reflective are visible at the collar of the jacket. Since they are silver and reflective, they don't blend well with the rest of the jacket which is otherwise quite drab. Not an issue for those who want this, but since it wasn't pictured, it came as a bit of a shock to me. Second, the jacket is about a full size too big. I purchased a Medium, but its sleeves, shoulders and chest are all more like a Large.

The jacket is a tight weave that has no real softness to it. Something like a sweatshirt with a bit of tweed in it. Not really a softshell either. It's thin, lightweight, and a really ugly color. I wanted to like it, but I can't and I'm sure my husband won't either.

The jacket is not as pictured. It's going back, and I don't recommend it.

I love this jacket, I read in another review that this jacket runs a bit small, and it definitely does. I usually wear an X-Large t-shirt which fits me quite comfortably, and I decided to buy this jacket in XXL and it's even a bit snug, but not too tight. Honestly though, no joke, if you wear this jacket in public, both young and old will compliment, and even ask where you got it, because according to a few people (mainly older people) this is a very hard jacket to find, but I would assume that is probably because they don't really do any internet shopping. Overall, great jacket.

Ok so i read an earlier post that said to buy XXL for medium built and height of 5'11, i doubted but since i hate returns and all the post office trips, i said why not.
For details i wear 15 or 151/2 shirt (chest 38", arm length 32/33) and the XXL fit me just right with just wearing a light shirt under.
The fabric quality is a solid khaki and the color is as shown on the picture, it says machine wash but looking at the color i will prefer dry cleaning instead.

This jacket was exactly as i expected it. It is the same as they used to make some years back when i had my first dickies jacket back in 2000. I just threw my original out a few months ago. This is a great replacement. This jacket is definitely a newer model as it has a cell phone pocket stitched into the left part of the inside of the jacket. But the pocket doesn't need to be used for a cell phone, it is large enough for multiple uses wether it be a small concealed firearm, mace, maps, or smuggling junk food into a theater. If this jacket is anything like my original it will last me for many years to come. I would recommend it.
